2025 Committee Deadlines:

  • TBD: Committees in both bodies must act favorably on bills that are not major appropriation or finance bills.
  • TBD: Committees in both bodies must act favorably on major appropriation and finance bills.

Per House Rule 2.03, the deadlines do not apply to the House Capital Investment Division; the House Taxes, Ways and Means, or Rules and Legislative Administration committees; nor the Senate Capital Investment, Finance, Taxes or Rules and Administration committees.

The Legislature must complete its work by TBD.

2025 Recess Dates

The legislature will recess for the observance of Easter, Eid, and Passover during the 2025 regular session. Both the Senate and House will remain open but no committee meetings or floor sessions will take place during these times.

Easter recess
