Minnesota Governmental Relations Council2025 Membership & Renewal Information Join the most well-connected lobbyists in Minnesota as a member of MGRC! We welcome organizations and individuals, veterans and newcomers, lobbyists, and those interested in public policy. MGRC is committed to providing our membership with support, resources, and education. Membership renewal notifications and instructions have been sent out to current MGRC members. If you are new here – welcome! Here are just a few things MGRC is working on to provide value to our members: 2025 Print Directory (aka The Lobbyist Book): This printed book is sent to fellow MGRC members, Capitol staff, and the newly elected officials prior to the start of the 2025 Legislative Session. Although you have missed the deadline for you to be included in the print directory, you will still receive one and your profile will be included on the online directory. Events: We have several events throughout the year that will help us connect and continue to provide value to MGRC members. MGRC members either get access to these events for free or for a discount. MGRC Member Room and Capitol Access: We are happy to have our member room access fully available again in 2025. Full printing services and internet access will be available for our members at the Capitol for the 2025 Legislative Session, as well as the opportunity to purchase a personal locker space. It also allows you the opportunity to get a “lobbyist” badge from the State of Minnesota that opens exterior Capitol doors during the work day that aren’t already open as well as tunnel access. We also work with the State to make sure MGRC members are aware of contract parking availability during the legislative session. Campaign Finance Board Task Force: MGRC’s Legislative Committee continues to work directly with the CFB to present additional perspective and information from multiple stakeholders in this discussion of requirements of registered lobbyists. This task force was created to give our members the opportunity to make their voices heard, and to provide the CFB feedback from our membership. Networking: Being a part of MGRC can help you build your network with other lobbyists, organizations, and students through Capitol Pathways. We also maintain a job board on the website where you can advertise any openings. Operational Excellence: Ensuring that our team has the resources needed to deliver top-notch service including regular updates during legislative session from our Board with important Capitol news. An individual membership for one person in an organization is $265.00 and any additional person would be $160. New Members to MGRC Only: Have a Membership Change?
