MGRC is pleased to offer the Lobbyist 101 Series: a training & networking opportunity for Lobbyists

Join us for the first training on
Friday, February 23, 2018
8:30 am, Room 10 State Office Building

The 2018 session is starting and MGRC is again sponsoring a free series of training and networking opportunities for new lobbyists (old lobbyist too!) on important issues at the Capitol and the legislative process.

Without question, federal tax conformity is going to be the most significant issue of 2018, and one of the leading tax experts at the legislature, House Research’s Legislative Analyst Joel Michael, will be our first Lobbyist 101 speaker.

Mr. Michael will walk through the complex process of updating Minnesota’s tax code and answer our questions about the ramifications of these changes.

Start the session off right by joining us for coffee and networking on Friday morning!
No pre-registration needed.

MGRC's Lobbyist 101 Series is free and open to anyone interested in attending. There is no need to pre-register. If you have questions please contact Joel Carlson at [email protected] or Leah Sweet at [email protected].
