MGRC is again pleased to offer the Lobbyist 101 Series - Training and Networking for Lobbyists

This year's sessions are an excellent opportunity to meet with legislative and government officials to expand your knowledge base on the workings of our state government. It's also a chance to network with veteran lobbyists, ask questions about the legislative process, and meet key officials that work for the legislature and other state offices.

Our first Friday meeting is set for March 4,2016 and you'll want to attend. We have a guided tour of the new Minnesota Senate Building (MSB) planned. Hear from those responsible for planning the buildings functions and uses, and how they are designed to meet legislative and public needs. At the conclusion of the tour, House Chief Sergeant at Arms Bob Meyerson is going to review the process for Capitol access including passes, viewing areas and messaging members during House floor sessions. You'll want to have this information before session starts!
